DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- For the second straight day the Lindsey Wilson College volleyball team lost a pair of matches at the Embry-Riddle (Fla.) University Labor Day Invitational.

The Blue Raiders dropped to 0-6 on the season with the two losses.

Lindsey Wilson managed just a.183 hitting percentage in an 8-25, 22-25, 21-25 loss to Evangel (Mo.) University. Evangel countered with a .355 hitting percentage and just 10 errors for the match.

Lindsey Wilson freshman Ashley Haworth led the Blue Raiders with 10 kills in the match and tied freshman teammate Andrea Taylor with a team-high eight digs.

In the Blue Raiders final match of the two-day invitational, Lindsey Wilson fell 12-25, 15-25, 17-25 to unbeaten Madonna (Mich.) University.

Lindsey Wilson once again struggled offensively. The Blue Raiders finished with a .057 hitting percentage, including 16 errors for the match.

Junior Racheal Achieng led the team with seven kills. Taylor added a team-high 18 assists for the match.

The Blue Raiders return to action at 7 p.m. CT on Thursday, Sept. 10, as Lindsey Wilson travels to St. Catharine (Ky.) College for the Mid-South Conference opener.
