WILMORE, Ky. --The Lindsey Wilson College volleyball team wrapped up play in the Asbury College Invitational with a pair of losses Saturday at the George E. Luce Physical Activities Center.

In the opening match, the Blue Raiders were dropped in four sets by Indiana University Southeast, 22-25, 20-25, 25-21, 19-25. Freshman Ashlie Haworth paced the squad with 13 kills, while junior Racheal Achieng added 12.Lindsey Wilson finished the match with eight service aces.

Indiana Southeast was a repeat opponent for the Blue Raiders this season, as they won by the same 3-1 score on Sept. 1.

In Lindsey Wilson's final match of the invitational, they were shutout 3-0 (21-25, 18-25, 20-25) by Montreat (N.C.) College.

Achieng smashed home a team-high 10 kills with Haworth backing her up on the attack with six kills. Haworth was also the top defender, picking up 16 digs. Freshman Andrea Taylor finished with double-figure digs as well with 12.

The Blue Raiders return to action at 12:30 p.m. CT on Sunday, Oct. 11 with a doubleheader against conference-foe West Virginia Tech at Biggers Sports Center.
