GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's indoor track & field team finished in 9th place at the 2010 DePauw Indoor Classic on Saturday at the Hollensteiner Track.

Roscoe Moore finished eighth in the finals of the 55-meter dash with a time of 6.98 seconds to earn a team point for the Blue Raiders. Ysidro Sorilla finished 15th in the 400-meter dash in 55.35 seconds, followed by Geoffrey Hayes (58.75) and Nathan Davis (1:01.60) in 19th and 20th place respectively.

Jordan Green posted a top-10 finish for the Blue Raiders in the 1,000-meter run, finishing seventh in two minutes and 49.26 seconds. Cody Dixon followed that performance with another seventh-place finish in the 200-meter dash (23.53 seconds).

Lindsey Wilson placed two runners in the top 10 of the 3,000-meter run with Jairus Kipkemoi taking second place in 8:49.62 and Kevin Rono finishing seventh in 9:17.71.

Andrew Willis ended up in second place in the triple jump with an effort of 12.91 meters, earning eight team points, while Ben Joseph took seventh place in the pole vault, clearing 3.40 meters in the final.

Wabash (Ind.) College easily paced the field with 141.5 points, while Bellarmine (Ky.) College placed second with 107 points and University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) wrapped up the top three with 86 points.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action March 2-6 in the NAIA Indoor National Championships at Johnson City, Tenn.
