ST. PETERS, Mo. -- The Lindsey Wilson College swimming team competed in two events on day one of the NAIA Swimming & Diving National Championships on Thursday at the St. Peters Rec-Plex.

Lindsey Wilson tallied six team points on a finish in the B-final of the 200-yard medley relay. Freshmen Ivan Ivancic, Daniel Lyle, Jordan Green and Daniel Pulliam combined for a time of one minute and 44.50 seconds, finishing 14th overall and sixth in the "B" group.

Lyle competed in the only other event for the Blue Raiders on the day in the 50-yard freestyle. Lyle clocked in at 22.21 seconds, finishing 38th overall which failed to qualify the freshman for a finals heat.

The swimming championships resume on Friday with seven events, including two more relay races.
