DANVILLE, Ky. -- Anyibell Ramirez pitched four innings, while Morgan Paschall took care of the last three to combine for a no hitter and give the Lindsey Wilson College softball team a 3-0 win against the University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) on the second day of the Mid-South Conference Tournament at Millennium Park.

Ramirez struck out five batters, but allowed six walks allowing Paschall to enter in the fifth inning and strike out seven of her nine batters faced.

Cumberlands had two hitters reach base without a walk, but both hits were negated by an error in the field.

Neither team could find any offensive rhythm until the bottom of the sixth inning when Lindsey Wilson rallied for three runs.

With one out in the inning, shortstop Jamie Williams singled, then stole second base. Catcher Ally Goniea followed her at the plate and singled as well, bringing Williams home to break up the tie.

Ramirez moved Goniea to second and was safe herself on a bunt allowing first baseman Kelly McCarty to single and load the bases.

Designated player Lindsey Bridges drew a walk in the next at bat, bringing the Blue Raider lead to 2-0. Center fielder Emily Carnes kept the rally alive with a single to score Ramirez and give Lindsey Wilson the 3-0 lead it would win the game by.

No Blue Raider had multiple hits on the day, while Goniea, Carnes and Bridges all registered an RBI on one hit each.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 4:30 p.m. CT today against Campbellsville (Ky.) University at Millennium Park.
