Roscoe Moore competed for men's track & field on day one of the NAIA Outdoor Championships on Thursday.

MARION, Ind. -- Lindsey Wilson College's Roscoe Moore qualified for one final and came up just short for another after day one of the Men's NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships on Thursday at the Outdoor Sports Complex.
Moore advances to the semifinals of the 100-meter dash after posting a time of 10.72 seconds in his preliminary race. The semifinals are scheduled during session six on Friday.
Moore nearly qualified for another final after finishing 20th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.56 seconds. The final advancing time recorded was 21.40 seconds, just 0.16 seconds ahead of the freshman from Mchenry, Ky.
Competition at the NAIA Championships resumes Friday morning with the 5,000-meter race walk and 5,000-meter run prelims on the schedule.
