COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Josh Miller from North Laurel High School in London, Ky., signed an NAIA scholarship to join the Lindsey Wilson College men's track & field team, the school announced on Friday.

Miller will compete in the throwing field events for the Blue Raiders during the 2010-11 season.

Mille placed third at the AAA Region Seven meet in the shot put with a throw of 42.9 feet and set a personal record in the discus with a fifth-place throw of 114.1 feet.

Other personal-best distances are a throw of 46 feet and 1.5 inches in the shot put and 103.8 feet in the javelin.
