COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College swimming coach Alicia Kemnitz added Jade Morgan from Poplar Bluff Senior High School in Poplar Bluff, Mo., to the women's swimming team, the school announced on Thursday.

Morgan swam as part of the Poplar Bluff Piranhas Swim Club for 11 years, while swimming with her high school squad for four years.

At Polar Bluff, Morgan was a four-year letter winner and was an all-conference honoree all for seasons. Morgan holds two school records as part of relay teams in the 200-yard medley relay and 400-yard freestyle relay.

Morgan lists her best events as the 100-butterfly, 100-backstroke and 200-individual medley.

"I chose Lindsey Wilson College because of the people," explained Morgan. "Every person I have met from the admissions office to the local people in the town of Columbia have treated me with kindness and respect. It's a bonus that Lindsey Wilson has the major that I want and a swimming program I can grow with.

"I feel like attending Lindsey Wilson will be like coming home."
