COLUMBIA, Ky. -- North Bullitt (Ky.) High School standout Meri Brian signed an NAIA scholarship with the Lindsey Wilson College women's track & field team, the school announced on Friday.
The Shepherdsville, Ky., native is a three-time competitor in the long jump at the Kentucky State Track Meet, as well as a two-time qualifier in the triple-jump competition.
Brian's personal best long jump is 17 feet and 0.5 benches, while her best leap in the triple jump is 34-8. Brian holds a personal record in the 100-meter dash of 14.55 seconds and personal best time in the 200-meter dash of 28.99 seconds.
