LONDON, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College sophomore Kelsey Joslyn shot a career-best even-par 72 (36-36) today to help the Blue Raiders lead the Bill Sergent Invitational at Crooked Creek Golf Club.

As a team, the Blue Raiders shot 311 to lead the 11-team field by 15 strokes at the midway point over second place Campbellsville (Ky.) University (326). Host University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) is third following a 330 and Indiana Tech University is fourth after firing a 348 team-total over the par-72, 6,072-yard Crooked Creek layout.

Joslyn recorded a pair of birdies, two bogeys and a tournament-leading 14 pars in her opening round. The Danville, Ky., native, birdied the par 3, 152-yard 2nd hole and the par 4, 294-yard 13th hole.

Joslyn leads the tournament over a pair of teammates -- senior Chelsey Key (40-37) and sophomore Jennifer MacKinnon (38-39) each shot five-over par 77s.

Lindsey Wilson junior Paola Gonzales' 85 (43-42) is tied for 15th and freshman Kaitlin Allan's 87 (42-45) is tied for 21st in the 60-woman field. Freshman Candace Stacey -- playing as an individual -- is tied for 27th with an 89 (43-46).

The Blue Raiders return to action on Friday, September 3, in the final round at Crooked Creek.
