LONDON, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's golf team is tied for seventh at the Bill Sergent Invitational hosted by University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) at Crooked Creek Golf Club.

The Blue Raiders shot a team-total of 306 to trail leader Walters State (Tenn.) Junior College (295) by 11 strokes. Lee (Tenn.) University is third following a 297 and host Cumberlands is third with a 299.

Senior Joe Hood (38-38) and sophomore Antonio Arriola (36-40) led the Blue Raiders with four-over par 76s over the par 72, 7007-yard course. The pair is tied for 22nd in the 83-man field.

Walters State's Lucas Armstrong leads the tournament following a four-under par 68 (33-35). Cumberlands' Pierre Carlsson is second with a 69 (35-34).

Lindsey Wilson sophomore Daron Morris (37-40) and junior Nicolas Navarro (39-38) are tied for 32nd following 77s. Junior Derek Murphy's 86 (45-41) rounds out the Blue Raider quintet.

Junior Chris Lewis -- playing as an individual -- is tied for 40th after today's 78 (40-38).

The Blue Raiders return to action on Friday, September 3, in the final round of the Bill Sergent Invitational at Crooked Creek Golf Club.
