Coach Chris Wells begins his sixth season in 2009-10 as Lindsey Wilson's women's golf coach.

Wells has guided the Blue Raiders to five straight NAIA National Tournaments, including a program-best runner-up finish in 2007.

In 2009, Wells guided the Blue Raiders to their third straight top-10 finish with an eighth place finish at the national championships.

Wells has guided the program to five consecutive Mid-South Conference regular season and tournament titles. Prior to the NAIA discontinuing regional qualification, the Blue Raiders had won four straight NAIA Region XI Championships.

Wells is a four-time NAIA Region XI Women's Golf Coach of the Year and a four-time MSC Women's Golf Coach of the Year.

The women's golf program has won 36 tournament titles during Wells' five seasons, including 13 over the last two seasons.

Wells has coached the only four NAIA All-Americans in the program's history and the 2007 individual national champion. Eighteen Blue Raiders have earned All Mid-South Conference honors under Wells, including the last three MSC Golfers of the Year.

In addition to being the women's golf coach; Wells is also the assistant athletic director and the sports information director.
